About Chalk Stream Flowers

Coming from generations of avid gardeners, it was no surprise that Ed followed suit into the world of horticulture. Growing for most of his adult life, whether as a professional gardener or helping others as a horticultural therapist, sharing the beauty or produce with others was always at the heart of it.

Frustrated with the lack of seasonal British flowers available to buy locally and with the generosity of a nearby family providing the land, Ed and Sarah set up Chalk Stream Flowers near Chichester, West Sussex. As a family business, everything we sell is grown by Ed, with the children often lending a hand and then arranged by Sarah.

Grown in a walled garden at the foot of the South Downs, we supply wholesale to florists and bouquets, jam jars and bunches directly to you or via our local stockists. To keep up to date with our current outlets check out our Instagram page here.

Working with nature is key to us. This is why we try and grow pollinator-friendly varieties and grow everything without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Even our wrapping is biodegradable or recyclable.
